The brief was to change this dull, white home with minimal internal structural changes. We removed the kitchen wall, added bulkheads and colour all round. Cladding gives character to the plain wall. The kitchen cupboards were retained but by tiling the surrounds in a darker colour, the white cupboards stand out. The contrast of the chocolate and white brings warmth to a previously cold, white and bland home. Colour, textures and clever lighting adds character to this home.
